Thursday, July 20th, Occasio Winery and their partners at Forno Vecchio in Pleasanton received the People’s Choice award for best pairing with a white wine at the annual Taste our Terroir event. Chef Jason Landas, working with sous chef Celinda Rahn and our winemaker, Dave Hendrickson, created a seared scallop dish that was the perfect match with our 2016 Chardonnay. We are so excited that we are inviting Jason to lead one of our lunch and learning events later this fall!
