This is a unique opportunity to experience harvest first hand. We will begin at the winery with a tour of the harvest operations and, if the grapes are in, get a chance to taste some of your favorite white wines at various stages of fermentation. We will then proceed to Sidewinder Lounge where you will learn the true history of white wines in Livermore Valley and Stella will describe in detail the decision making that goes into growing and harvesting the fruit. You will sample the grapes and see what we look for in ripeness. Then you will see how we turn the fruit into wine.
Attendees will leave with an in-depth understanding of Occasio’s artisanal approach to crafting wine – and a pre-release bottle of our 2017 Founder’s Chardonnay.
