We will be tasting Pinot Noirs that we have crafted from two of California’s most iconic appellations – Russian River Valley and Los Carneros (Sonoma Coast). \nIn the Russian River Valley\, the cool coastal fog and maritime influence create a long growing season\, allowing the grapes to develop complex flavors and elegant acidity. Representing this region\, we will taste a barrel sample of our 2022 Lineage Estate Pinot Noir. \nLos Carneros\, located at the southern tip of Napa and Sonoma\, also benefits from a cool climate\, producing Pinot Noir with bright red fruit flavors and a delicate structure. We have challenged Brandon to match cheeses to four of our wines – Dos Mesas\, Telos\, Angelica\, and our Sweet Vermouth. Not only was he proved up to this task\, but he even added additional cheeses to help us explore the culinary science behind wine and cheese pairing! \nThe event will be held at the Cheese Parlor\, 158 Maple St.\, Livermore.
