93 points – 2013 Heritage Collection Cabernet Sauvignon

Today, we released our 2013 Heritage Cabernet Sauvignon, Livermore Valley, to our members. At the same time, we learned that the wine received a 93 point rating in Wine Enthusiast for the December issue. And, if that weren’t enough, editor Jim Gordon made it his Cellar Selection.

I think that our 2013 Heritage Collection Cab is the finest wine we have made, and continues our progression towards an ever better refinement in style as we learn more about our terroir. Half clone 4 from Ghielmetti, and half clone seven from Thatcher Bay, both blended with just a touch of Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and Petit Verdot for a rich and complex expression of the varietal.
