Sidewinder Spirits

Our trademark application for Sidewinder Spirits Company has been granted, and is now approved for our use in the manufacture of spirits. Also, last week the Federal Government issued us our distillers permit, and we expect the State to sign off at the beginning of the new year. Soon, our winter’s chill will be “made glorious summer”  with the sounds and smells of our new pot still.

Work is proceeding at our new facility on Research as we make it ready to receive our barrels of brandy and whisky for aging. The adjacent structure, the old Thomas Coyne tasting room, is being redesigned as a private tasting lounge for our members. We have contracted with artist Joe Raineri for the design of the new lounge, which will be used to showcase our handcrafted wines and spirits. As with everything we do, all of the materials used in construction have been chosen to tell a story of Livermore Valley, and of the secret years of prohibition. It will be a lounge like none other.

A hard hat tour of the facility is being planned for end of January.
