November Wine Club Releases Receive Accolades

Last November’s wine club releases were awarded accolades this month, continuing our tradition of providing members with first access to some of Livermore Valley’s most highly rated wines. Our 2013 Founder’s Collection Merlot was awarded 92 points, and was named the editor’s Cellar Selection for next April’s issue of Wine Enthusiast Magazine.* No merlot from our Valley has ever received a higher rating.

The white wine in our November release, our 2015 Founder’s Collection Chardonnay, received a gold medal at the 2017 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. Barrel fermented in the Burgundian tradition, we feel strongly that this is our finest Chardonnay to date.

*Subtle power and a structure built for aging lift this wine above the crowd. It has deep and concentrated black cherry and cassis flavors, an abundance of fine-grained tannins, velvety texture, and a tasty, lingering finish. Best after 2019 – Wine Enthusiast Magazine
