Sangria Madness

Sangria Madness has become an annual event held during the dog days of summer, that time when we all reach for a refreshing libation to ward off the heat. Sangria Madness begins with an introduction to the drink’s colorful history and then proceeds to showcase a few of our favorite recipes from past year’s events before introducing a new challenger to the mix.

For years, our Occasio Classic Sangria dominated the competition until, in 2018, a former tasting room manager surprised us with a refreshing summer sangria recipe that dominated through the years of covid – until last year, when Nick created a concoction that swept the field.

Sangria Madness returns this August. We are inviting you to share your favorite sangria recipes with us. Who knows – maybe one of them will become the new favorite and you can reign as this year’s champion.
