Watermelon Cucumber Gimlet

bartender double straining a watermelon gimlet into a martini glass garnished with watermelon slice

We love our summers. Our staff is constantly bringing in a wealth of fresh produce – peaches, tomatoes, … and watermelons. Yes, this is the season for watermelon, and this watermelon cucumber gimlet is the perfect cocktail to show it off. Try using our Sidewinder Botanical Gin if you can find it. The subtle infusions of cucumber and rose in our Botanical Gin lift this gimlet to another level.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Sidewinder Botanical Gin
  • 1 oz fresh squeezed lime juice
  • ¾ oz watermelon simple syrup
  • 2 – 3 thin slices of fresh cucumber for muddling

Directions

Place the cucumber slices in the bottom of a mixing tin and add the lime juice and gin. Muddle the ingredients gently. Add the watermelon syrup and ice and shake until chilled. Double strain into a martini glass or coupe.
